![]() those "Choose a card" screens), this version seems much more usable than the previous Shandalar version we had yay Off the top of my head, can't think of anything else. When you cast them, it lets you choose which player to target, but it always gives the free turn to the _opponent_, regardless of what you choose after fixing that, it stopped happening altogether) ģ) I don't know if this is known or not, but Shadow doesn't seem to be implemented (creatures with Shadow can be blocked by creatures without Shadow) Ĥ) "Protection from creatures" seems to be implemented as "banding"(?) ĥ) " Time Warp" (and the other card that's exactly the same, but from Portal) seem bugged to me. I can still right-click on the Shandalar program and choose to "close it" without having to kill the process) or when entering those "bonus" things that are randomly scattered in the field (this bug was caused by having some of the files with the "read-only" flag activated. or, at least, not less stable than the original Shandalar Ģ) Whenever it does crash, it doesn't seem to manifest in the same way as mathulasem describes: to me, it happened either during combat (and it doesn't really crash. ![]() it seems like the AI gets stuck "thinking" indefinitely), but nothing compared to the amount of crashes that Manalink has got us used to it actually seems rather stable to me. We'll wait & see how Korath wants us to proceed with these different ways to track & report these occurrences as we move forward.įor now, when each new release from Korath is made available. Using the save game function to set the game state up before the crash/bug occurs might also be an addition to our arsenal of information to get these problems isolated and highlighted. Try to describe the best you can what the game state was when you came across these bugs and include any screenshots or other pertinent info you think will help get your report to aid in getting the bug fixed. Please post all your bug reports in this thread only so we can keep it easy to access and search for when we are tracking these anomalies. ![]() I'm not sure how we will distinguish each release, wether it will be an alpha - number system or some other way that Korath will determine how he wants to track these.įor now as Korath has pointed out, this is pre-alpha release software, so we will stick with this classification until we go to a full up alpha release. This is the new thread that will be the repository for all bug reports for Korath's updates to Shandalar.
